EAST NEW YORK - Police are calling for more volunteers are a desperate family searches for 11-year-old Kareem Granton.

Kareem was last seen Wednesday. Police say he took the bus home from school and went to a friend's apartment on the fifth floor of the NYCHA complex where they both live on Williams Avenue. His friend says he left to go home at around 3 p.m. and went down the stairwell. Nobody has seen him since.

Kareem is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 95 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
