Residents of an East New York block are fed up with a pothole on their street they say is a hazard to drivers and pedestrians.

EAST NEW YORK - Residents of an East New York block are fed up with a pothole on their street they say is a hazard to drivers and pedestrians.

Edwin Alvarez, who has lived on Shepherd Avenue for three years, says the pothole is now about 20 inches deep and several feet wide. He says the pothole is especially dangerous at night.

City officials say they will send a crew to make temporary repairs to the street and are investigating what is causing the problem.
