EAST NEW YORK - An East New York woman and community members rallied Monday in front of the Family Court building in Downtown Brooklyn over what she calls flaws with the Administration for Children’s Services.

Tracey Breaker is hoping to reunite 9-year-old Lorenzo Mason with his brothers and sisters in East New York. She says her sister gave up her five children five years ago. Breaker was able to adopt three of the children, but says Mason was put into a foster family that now wants to adopt him.

Breaker blames ACS for refusing to make her his guardian. She says she's filing an appeal to stop the adoption. She also says a fifth sibling is in a similar circumstance.

ACS was called to comment about this report. It has not yet responded.
