BROOKLYN - A grant is helping some Brooklyn high school students get a head start on healthy futures.

Edward R. Murrow High School was awarded funding from Tyson Foods for its new wellness room and to help make nutritious foods affordable.

Students worked with their teachers to get the room, even helping write the grant request.
