BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn resident has spent years creating a unique book in an attempt to bring his love of vinyl to a different medium.

Eilon Paz has traveled all over the world, photographing and interviewing a dozen record collectors about why they love the hobby so much. It is all a part of his new book, "Dust & Grooves: Adventures in Record Collecting," which takes a deeper look into the eccentric lifestyles of these collectors.

Jeff Ogiba, co-owner of Black Gold Records in Carroll Gardens, is one of these collectors. He says that he listens to records on vinyl from the second he gets up, to when he is falling asleep.

The book will be available on the Dust & Grooves website starting Tuesday.
