BROOKLYN - Elected officials, community leaders and clergy marched through Brownsville today, calling for an end to gun violence.
The march came one day after two suspects were arraigned in the shooting death of 1-year-old Antiq Hennis. Daquan Breland, 23, has been charged with second-degree murder and criminal possesion of a weapon. Daquan Wright, 19, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon. Both were arrested in Pennsylvania.
The march was among a few tributes to the little boy today. Earlier today, friends and family gathered to pay a heartfelt tribute to the little boy. A motorcycle ride was held in Hennis' honor, and the boy's mother released a dove in his memory.
