BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn woman is behind bars after allegedly plotting to have her husband killed.

According to authorities, Elena Adams met with an undercover agent in Sheepshead Bay Thursday to discuss her murder-for-hire scheme.

Officials say Adams planned to have lunch with her spouse this Sunday, then walk him across the street where he would be struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver.

The 57-year-old gave the officer a picture of her husband, along with jewelry and a stamp collection valued at $60,000.
