Cops say the suspect stole the bike from a stairwell last Monday.

BROOKLYN - The NYPD has released elevator video of an alleged bike thief. 

According to police, the suspect stole a Trek bicycle from the stairwell of a building on North 5th Street last Monday. 

The bearded man has reddish hair, is between 20 and 30 years old, and has tattoos on both arms. He's also believed to be around 5 feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds.
