BROOKLYN - Emergency officials say a Mill Basin 14-year-old likely drowned in the water at Jacob Riis Park in Queens last night.

The boy was last seen in the water at around 7:10 p.m. last night. The search for him was halted at around 10 p.m.

The Coast Guard resumed searching this morning, but has called off the search this evening. Unfortunately, the teen has not yet been found.
