Emergency workers, cops participate in tri-state anti-terror drill

BROOKLYN - An increased number of police and emergency workers will be out on the streets this week as part of a tri-state anti-terror drill.

The drill, which began today, is an attempt to prepare emergency personnel in the event of a radiological attack. The exercise will take place on land, rails, highways and waterways.

Approximately 150 emergency agencies are participating in the drill.
