BROOKLYN - An escaped prisoner is back in police custody in Brooklyn.

Authorities say Corpus Hernandez ran away from the Kings County Criminal Courthouse at Smith and State streets Thursday. He was found late that night, but details on where he was have not been released.

The 37-year-old has a lengthy criminal record.
