BROOKLYN - The group Eva's Sports Club rallied on the steps of Borough Hall to send a stop the violence message to the community on Friday. The event was called "Hispanics unite with our neighbors to end the violence".
The group is calling on the community and local elected officials to come together and create different outlets and activities for Brooklyn youth.
They want children and teens to be active in the community, and stay off the street and away from assaults and attacks.
Eva's Sports Club wants to open a community center in Brownsville for young people.
