THE BRONX - Former Brooklyn Congressman Anthony Weiner joined several other mayoral hopefuls for a Democratic Forum in the Bronx.
Weiner was joined by City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, public advocate Bill de Blasio, former Brooklyn City Councilman Sal Albanese, Reverand Selgado and former city Comptroller Bill Thompson at the Riverdale Temple Thursday night.
Weiner, who jumped into the race just this week via a YouTube video, also campaigned earlier in the day outside a Harlem subway station. During the forum, he apologized to the audience for the sexting scandal that ultimately cost him his seat in Congress.
A recent poll showed Weiner in second place behind Quinn among Democratic candidates.
