BAY RIDGE - Former Yankees manager Joe Torre says he's proud of his daughter following her heroic actions that saved a baby's life.

Yesterday, Torre's daughter Christina caught a 1-year-old boy after he fell from a second-story window in Bay Ridge.

Christina says she saw the toddler dangling from the fire escape and moved into position to catch him. The boy was slightly injured during the fall.

The parents, who were sleeping at the time of the incident, are charged with reckless endangerment.
