Family calls for justice in woman's death

HARLEM - The family of an East Flatbush woman allegedly struck and killed by a drunken off-duty NYPD officer is calling for justice.

Vionique Valnord, the daughter of a local pastor, had just left a wedding reception when she was hit Sept. 26 at Avenue N and East 56th Street in Mills Basin.

NYPD officer Andrew Kelly has been indicted on charges of vehicular manslaughter and accused of driving drunk in the accident, which killed the 33-year-old Valnord.
