Family, friends mourn teen killed in crash

BROOKLYN - Family and friends today are mourning the death of a teenager struck and killed by a car in Brownsville.

Police say Kira Goddard, 13, was hit by an out-of-control SUV in Brownsville on July 30. Police say the driver, Sean Lewis, had been brutally stabbed in the torso and was speeding westbound down Pacific Avenue when he hit three parked cars and then struck the teenager. Lewis later died in the hospital.
