BARCLAYS CENTER - Fans of the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones" invaded Barclays Center Thursday for an advanced screening of the show's season four premiere.

Crowds were lined up outside the arena before the event. All 7,000 tickets sold out ahead of time.

Proceeds of the screening will go to charity.

HBO says that it is the first-ever advanced screening of the popular show. The channel is calling the event "the epic fan experience."

Some fans were decked out in costumes for the premiere.

All cellphones were checked at the doors to avoid spoilers leaking online.

"Game of Thrones" fans who missed the screening will have to wait until April 6 to catch the season four premiere on HBO.
