BROOKLYN - The MTA FASTRACK program will affect the N and R lines, starting tonight.

The MTA is rerouting the N and R between 36th Street and Stillwell Avenue every night this week.

The FASTRACK program suspends service four week nights in a row to perform track maintenance. Through FASTRACK, the MTA aims to inconvenience as few people as possible while making repairs to the system.

There will be a special N train operating from Stillwell Avenue to Eighth Avenue for straphangers from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. every night. Shuttle buses are also available.
