FDNY battles 2-alarm fire on Empire Boulevard in Crown Heights

CROWN HEIGHTS - Firefighters rushed to a two-alarm fire at an auto parts store in Crown Heights Monday evening. 

Emergency responders say they were called to the scene at 224 Empire Blvd. just after 8 p.m.

No serious injuries were reported, and officials are investigating what sparked the flames.

Firefighters say the blaze was tough to battle as there was very limited ventilation and heavy smoke conditions throughout the building.
