BUSHWICK - Fire officials say 11 people were treated for minor injuries, including a firefighter, after a blaze erupted on Dekalb Avenue Tuesday night.

Investigators say the fire started just before 10 p.m. inside a church on the ground floor, and spread to several homes.

Officials say many families have been displaced and their possessions were destroyed.

Firefighters will remain on the scene this morning in an effort to make sure the fire does not rekindle.
