FDNY unveils new citywide posters with BK faces

NEW YORK - The fire commissioner unveiled awareness campaign posters for EMS Week featuring two Brooklyn residents.

The new poster features 6-year-old Shamia Jones smiling and sitting with an EMS responder. Shamia was saved by EMS responders when she choked on candy five years ago. Another poster features Bryan Linsey who was taken to the hospital by EMS when he was hit by a car as a kid. Now, Linsey is graduating college.

The posters were unveiled to mark the start of EMS Week which begins Sunday.
