BROOKLYN - Sen. Chuck Schumer announced Tuesday that $4 million in federal funding will go toward rail repairs in Brooklyn.

Schumer says eight stations along the D and M subway lines that are in dire need of repair will get the funds.

An MTA Transit spokesperson says the money will also help pay for new fencing at the rail yards in Brooklyn.
