BROOKLYN - A community tradition of bringing Italian-American food and culture to Bensonhurst is back for another year.

The Festa di Santa Rosalia was nearly canceled due to issues with street closure permits and city tax documents.

One vendor says he's relieved the festival happened because it brings people to the neighborhood and helps keep businesses from leaving.

The event will run every night from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. through Sept. 1.
