BROOKLYN - A three-alarm fire severely damaged a popular Sunset Park restaurant Sunday.
Officials say the electrical fire began around 5:45 p.m. in the basement of Tacos El Bronco on 4th Avenue, and quickly spread to apartments above the restaurant.
More than 130 firefighters responded to the blaze, which took about an hour and a half to control.
Two children who were eating in the restaurant and one firefighter were taken to hospitals with minor injuries.
The Red Cross is working to help 13 displaced families.
