WILLIAMSBURG - An early morning fire badly damaged a business in Williamsburg on Sunday.

EMS officials say the fire broke out between 5 and 6 a.m. at Luxury Lighting. The building, located at 240 Broadway, is in a five-story apartment building.

A firefighter was transported to Bellevue Hospital Center in serious condition for electric shock. Another was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The fire was contained shortly after 6:30 a.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
