BROOKLYN - A fire in Flatbush Monday morning left a home completely destroyed.

Jancie Euba-Ashton says a heater in her home was on. She says she does not know if the heater exploded, but says the fire started in a corner.

Euba-Ashton, her husband and her three children say they ran outside and called 911. She says she is grateful for how quickly the fire department arrived at her home.

Euba-Ashton's husband and two of her children were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Two firefighters were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
