Fire destroys home in Flatbush

FLATBUSH - A massive fire ripped through a Brooklyn home today, leaving the family without a place to live.

Officials say the fire started at the house on East 46th Street early this afternoon.

The residents say they believe it started because of an electrical issue. However, fire officials have yet to confirm the cause of the blaze.

No injures were reported, although one person was taken to the hospital for emotional distress, according to officials.
