Fire marshals: Smoking materials caused fatal Williamsburg blaze

WILLIAMSBURG - Fire marshals say improper disposal of smoking materials caused a deadly apartment fire in Williamsburg.

Ellen Lucky, 59, died Friday night in the fire at 147 Conselyea St. The fire also destroyed the apartment building and displaced eight other families.

Fire marshals believe the fire was accidental.
