Fire Prevention Week kicks off in NYC

BROOKLYN - The FDNY is looking to help educate New Yorkers on how to stay safe during a fire.

Firefighters will be holding events throughout the New York City through Saturday, Oct. 10.

The events are being held as part of the 92nd National Fire Prevention Week.

The FDNY Fire Safety Unit was stationed on Third Avenue Sunday to answer questions from residents.
