Firefighters march over Brooklyn Bridge to honor 9/11 victims

BROOKLYN - Firefighters marched over the Brooklyn Bridge today to honor fallen heroes from Brooklyn's Battalion 57 who died in the Sept. 11 attacks.

The firefighters carried 26 flags across the Brooklyn Bridge, one for each of their fallen brothers. The flags were carried to St. Joseph's Church for a memorial Mass.

"This day will never be easy for us, it's going to be a constant battle," said Kelly Brunton-Pearn.
