Firefighters share safety tips for national fire prevention week

BROOKLYN - National fire prevention week officially kicked off Sunday.

Firefighters across the city will be sharing some safety tips throughout the week.

They'll be handing out pamphlets and talking about escape plans.

President Obama took time Sunday to honor the 84 firefighters who've died in the line of duty, since last year.
