BROOKLYN - A new set of affordable housing units was unveiled Wednesday near the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

The complex, called Navy Green, was built on the site of a former Navy prison. The first phase of the $85 million project was recently completed, and includes around 300 residences.

The apartments range from studio to multi-bedroom spaces.

The second phase of development is set to feature town houses and condominiums, and is expected to be completed by December 2015.
