FLATBUSH - Three Flatbush businesses remain closed following a construction accident in Flatbush earlier this week. The wall of an African hair braiding salon collapsed into an excavation site Wednesday, forcing the closure of the three businesses. One of the businesses, a clothing store, just opened this week. "I have six employees," the owner said. "'And right now they are out of work." The two other businesses are also hair salons, and one of the owners said he cannot return to work until an engineer determines his building is safe. A worker was hospitalized after the accident with a broken leg, but is expected to recover.
