BROOKLYN - News 12's Natasha Geigel visited a juice bar in the Bronx to learn about the benefits of juicing.

At Juice Me, owner Bernice Mariscal serves up natural remedies using fresh fruits and vegetables. Mariscal says she started juicing as a way to supplement the medications she was on to treat lupus. 

Mariscal says juicing helps rejuvenate the body and provides vitality and overall beneficial help.

The juices at Juice Me are created for all types of health conditions, including diabetes. Their most popular drink this season is the Flu Fighter, which features bananas, pineapple, kale and green apple.
