THE BRONX - In this week's edition of Food for Thought, viewers asked News 12's Natasha Geigel questions about nutrition.

Viewers wanted know what exactly GMOs and "pink slime" are and whether they have any nutritional value.

Another viewer wanted to know if going vegetarian would help with weight loss.

Jessica Fiedler, a dietitian at Saint Barnabas Hospital, says going vegetarian isn't mandatory for weight loss and sticking with leaner meats can still be beneficial.
