BROOKLYN - It's hard to walk into a supermarket or read a magazine and not see the term superfood.
News 12 spoke with dietitian Lori Rosenthal from Montefiore Medical Center to discuss superfoods.
Rosenthal says superfoods are foods that are considered especially healthy.

The term was coined for foods that have extra nutritional properties that promote health and wellness and can make our bodies run smoothly.
Some superfoods include spinach, eggs, Greek yogurt, berries and oatmeal.
