CONEY ISLAND - The 'Reaching-Out Community Services' food pantry has set up an emergency food tent in the community for those still without power.

Volunteers for the group spent the day giving out free meals, blankets and water on West 33rd Street and Neptune Avenue.

Residents who lined up for the food say it'll be some time until their lives get back to normal but say dedicated neighbors and a hot bowl of soup can go a long way.
