Former Brooklyn banker opens up distillery

After getting laid off from his Wall Street job in December 2008, Brad Estabrooke decided he would try his luck and open up a distillery

BROOKLYN - After getting laid off from his Wall Street job in December 2008, Brad Estabrooke decided he would try his luck and open up a distillery in Brooklyn.

The idea came after Estabrooke realized there were no distilleries in the New York City area.

The distillery is located on 19th Street and all the gin is made from organic grains.
