MANHATTAN - Family, friends and fellow politicians filled the pews at Temple Emmanu-el in Manhattan this morning to give a final farewell to former New York City Mayor Ed Koch.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former President Bill Clinton were among those who spoke about the Bronx native, who died Friday at the age of 88.

"The city we know today would not exist without him. Everything that David Dinkins and Rudy Giuliani and I accomplished has been built on the foundation that Ed laid," Bloomberg said in his eulogy.

As NYPD officers carried Koch's coffin out following the service, the temple's organ played the Frank Sinatra song "New York, New York."
