Fort Greene community rallies to catch attacker

BROOKLYN - (AP) - A Fort Greene community is rallying together to try and catch a suspect allegedly involved in three attempted sexual attacks.

Police say the suspect approached his third victim on Jan. 26 near the intersection of Fulton and Cumberland streets. He attempted to grab her and remove her clothing when the victim was able to fight him off, according to police.

Two similar incidents occurred Jan 19. and Jan 9. in Brooklyn.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
