BROOKLYN - The Community Health Network is offering free HIV testing to Brooklyn residents on the eve of World Aids Day.

A special mobile clinic is set up at Atlantic Terminal, where New Yorkers can get free, rapid HIV tests.

Each year, about 50,000 people are infected with the disease nationwide. In New York, officials estimate 7,000 will be diagnosed with AIDS this year alone.

The mobile clinic will be open until 5 p.m.
