Free mammograms offered near lawmaker's office

BROOKLYN - The American Cancer Foundation is providing no-cost mammogram screenings to women in the borough as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The screenings are taking place today just outside of state Sen. Marty Golden's office on Quentin Road.

Medical officials say patients must be over 40 years old, and must not have had a mammogram in the past year.
