BROOKLYN - It’s been seen all over social media and now News 12 has an inside look at how Bedford’s Scotch Egg Burger is made. 

The creator of the dish, Sean Rawlins, says they mix sausage and ground pork with garlic, salt and pepper, throw a boiled egg inside, wrap it up and lightly fry it. 

That Scotch egg is then cut in half and becomes the bun on the famous burger. 

"The Scotch egg -- a friend of mine in Scotland recommended it to me and I was like look it's a great dish but it's hard to sell to Americans and his idea was throw a burger in it. Americans eat burgers and I was like you're not quite that far off,” Rawlins says. 

The owner says they wanted to create a burger as unique as Brooklyn itself.
