BROOKLYN - A restaurant in Gowanus accepted an offer on the popular ABC show "Shark Tank" to expand its frozen coal oven pizza business.

Owner Tom Cucco opened Table 87 Coal Oven Pizza in Brooklyn Heights in 2012 and then expanded to Gowanus 18 months later.

Last year, Cucco started freezing his pizza to sell in supermarkets. Customers just have to heat it up, as it's already cooked.

"We got Whole Foods Market, Fairway Market and many other markets on board," he says.

In the restaurant, the pizza is cooked in a 900-degree coal oven and only takes two minutes to fully cook.

On Shark Tank, Cucco accepted Lori Greiner's offer of $250,000 for 18.5 percent equity in the company.
