CANARSIE - Friends and family said a final farewell today to the 13-year-old girl killed by a car Monday.

According to officials, Sarah Parris was hit trying to cross the street in front of the Canarsie High School for Medicine. She was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where EMS officials pronounced her dead.

The funeral was held at the Christian Cultural Center in Canarsie this morning. The ceremony included a choir and hip-hop dance routine to help remember the high school freshman.

Police say they do not plan on filing any charges against the driver who hit Sarah.
