EAST NEW YORK - A funeral service was held Wednesday for Mohamed Bilal, who was fatally shot during an attempted robbery in an East New York electronics store.

Mohamed Bilal, 32, who worked at New Attitude Computer Repair Shop on New Lots Avenue, was shot in the chest Monday afternoon. He was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. The entire incident was caught on surveillance camera.

Police arrested 24-year-old Robert Bullock and have charged him with Bilal’s murder, as well as attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

Bilal had a 2-month-old baby boy and a wife in Pakistan.
