BROOKLYN - The G train will be shut down this Saturday for the first of many weekends.

MTA crews are trying to repair damage in the Greenpoint tunnel from Superstorm Sandy.

The Greenpoint Avenue stop, 21st Street and Court Square will be closed from Saturday until Monday morning.

The MTA says those stops will be closed for 12 weekends until the critical repairs are made.
