FLATBUSH - The 13-year-old boy who was shot in the head last week in Flatbush has been released from the hospital.

Gama Droiville left Kings County Hospital Tuesday, where he spent a week after he was hit with a stray bullet while walking on Flatbush Avenue with his aunt and cousin. A 24-year-old man, believed to be the intended target, was also shot in the leg.

Droiville and his family say they're very thankful for everyone who offered their support and prayers as he recovered.

Police arrested and charged the suspected gunman, 21-year-old Kareen Potomont, on Friday. Potomont is now facing charges of attempted murder and assault.
