BROOKYLN - The Department of Sanitation has suspended garbage and recycling pickup indefinitely in the borough.

The move comes after last weekend?s blizzard that has severely hampered transportation and cleanup efforts.

Despite being told not to put trash outside, some Brooklyn residents say they will because they do not want it in their homes. Department of Sanitation workers say there should be a limited trash pickup by Monday.
