MANHATTAN - ? The 41st annual Gay Pride parade was held Sunday in Manhattan.
The parade comes just two days after state lawmakers voted in favor of a same-sex marriage bill.
The event kicked off at noon on 36th Street and Fifth Avenue before heading downtown to Greenwich and Christopher streets.
Parade organizers expected half-a-million people to attend.
